Oh Canada Post-3

Hi Everyone,

You know, I am like a lot of people. I get up in the morning with a purpose, a reason to get things done. When things don’t work out, because one or more people can’t control their egos, (Seriously? On a Monday morning?) I start my day again no matter how pissed off I am. It is not always easy, but somehow I manage. Then someone else has their ego out of whack and I start again. And it seems like someone at Canada Post still can’t put their ego aside long enough to do their job! This is what I mean.

Over the weekend I emailed the organization that I have been dealing with for close to eight years. Since their office was closed over the weekend, they replied to my email shortly after their offices opened, now yesterday morning. About 5 hours later, I received another email from them. That one was from their Toronto office.

According to them, they mailed the mail I was waiting for, 5-6 weeks ago to my old address which, by the way, was still under the 12 months of the mail forwarding service that I paid for and that I  still have difficulty believing that I am receiving. There is still a lot of mail I am not getting. What a WASTE of money that was! And a HUGE waste of my, and a lot of other people’s time too. Now that I think about it, I’ve probably worked harder getting my mail, than any “Postie” ever has delivering mail!

Sure there could be some mix-up somewhere. Lots of people walk around confused. Even I have my moments. Twice last year, I actually believed that Canada Post was going to finally do what taxpayers are paying them for, but they haven’t, currently aren’t and most likely never will.  This is just another example of how utterly  incompetent they are choosing to be. Could I have someone’s crumbs please? I am starving. Frustration does that to people.

What I didn’t do over the weekend was call Canada Post to inform them that I was going to post another blog about them and ask them for my mail. Rest assured, that’ll be the first thing I’ll be doing that as soon as I finish this blog.

I could go on, but this and the other annoying things that have happened today have taken up too much of my day as it is.

Before I forget, I would like to thank Canada Post for mailing me those two other sales-letters informing how I could benefit from their Mail Forwarding Service. I needed a laugh.

Thank you for reading, A.Rebel’s Rant!  ;D
