Hi Everyone,
If you don’t already know, I consider cell phones to be a necessary evil. That is the only reason I have one. I try not to use it as often as possible. Yesterday was an exception. I needed it. I also needed it to work. This is what happened.
Since I use my cell phone only when I HAVE to, I don’t clear my emails. Apparently, if you don’t clear the old ones out you don’t get any new ones. Normally this wouldn’t bother me. I usually work from home, but yesterday I was out. I was also waiting for a slew of quotes that I thought I could at least review from my cell phone until I got home. That did not happen because, again, my cell phone wasn’t accepting any new emails at all.
I tried everything that I could, but nothing seemed to work. After I told someone that the last email I received on my cell was December 5th they suggested that I shut down my phone instead of using up data.
After I did that all of my emails came in. There was a lot for me to go through before I saw the ones I was looking for. This was about 9 hours after I would have liked. Not cool! I was pretty pissed off, but happy that I could at least review the emails.
Unfortunately I had to waste some time this morning by doing some damage control. Damage control is rarely fun. It is a lot of backtracking and sweet talking. I ended up being about 2 hours behind in my day. Thankfully it is over.
Note to self: Always clear out emails from cell if you are not going to be at home!
Bottom line. I learned something new. I also have a new hatred for my cell phone.
Thank you for reading, A. Rebel’s Rant! ;D
