Hi Everyone,
Insecure people bug me. This is why.
Tuesday January 1st, 2019 started off very well and I had a pretty good day. Wednesday January 2nd, 2019 had an okay beginning. My morning wasn’t as great as the day before, but you know, things happen. Since my life doesn’t stop for a minor set-back, I kept going. A few hours later something happened and I couldn’t help it. I was a bit upset.
Luckily one of my friends was close-by and I shared part of what happened. Even before I finished the last sentence I thought, Oh my God. It sounds like I am fishing for a compliment. And I was. And I hated myself for it too! I was so embarrassed that I stopped talking before I left the room—quite hurriedly.
Everyone has a not-so-great or bad day. Everyone feels good, great and not so glamorous. It is humanly impossible to not be human. I know that. People are people. But when people are insecure, they bug me. And they would have to. It bugs me when I am insecure. There are many reasons for this. Here is one.
I am of the belief that insecure people are liabilities. Yep! You read that correctly.
A lot of the time, insecure people need to be told how great they are. They also need someone to hold their hand as they are being handled with kid gloves. If you told an insecure person the truth, not only could they not handle it, someone would have to console them until it was someone else’s shift to put up with their shit. And yes, you read that correctly too. A lot of things that people are insecure about is bull shit.
Being insecure is very time-consuming. It drains everyone’s energy. Insecure people bug me. And again, it bugs me when I am insecure.
If I don’t have time to see and be with the people I love or even like then why would I be with someone who is insecure? People are people. They are going to do what they will or will not do. If I made time to wonder why whatever did or did not happen, I wouldn’t get anything done! If you have time for that, then you have far more time than I do! You probably also have far more patience too! Don’t get sucked into that, the drama of other people.
