Hi Everyone,
About two weeks ago, someone asked me something about my being in a relationship. My honest answer was not likely. This is why.
I really enjoy my own company! Maybe that sounds weird to some people, but it is true. I love hanging out by myself. I do whatever I want, whenever I want and I LOVE that. If I need or want to do something, I get it or do it. Sure I might need to have help with some things like putting up a shelf, but for the most part, I can take care of myself.
And besides, right now, I don’t want to make time in my life for anyone else. Call me selfish or whatever you want. I LOVE the fact that I control the beat of my own drum and that I can change the rhythm anytime I choose to.
That makes me happy and if that makes me happy so be it. Everyone is different, so back to, if my enjoying my own company sounds weird to some people, maybe they should try it sometime. It beats feeling needy or needing someone in my life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 365 days a year that is for sure. Will I always feel this way? Highly unlikely! I am sure that at some point in my life, I would like to share it with someone. That someone would of course have to be Mr. Wonderful. (Here is a link to that blog, http://arebelsrant.com/mr-wonderful/ ) But what is the hurry?
There are a lot of fish in the sea, someone for everyone, and no one is getting any younger. I know that Mr. Wonderful is out there and that we will find each other. But for now, this GREAT woman (GREAT is an acronym that I created a few years ago to describe strong women) is doing whatever and whenever she wants.
Other people also enjoy their own company too, so I am not alone on this.
