Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately due to the tragic Boston Marathon Bombings yesterday, American spies did not catch the bad guys in time. I am sure that they tried and that they will continue to try to bring justice and safety to all.
All of our lives will change again. How? I don’t know, but it will happen. One thing that I did note was the digital divide between the generations. This is what I mean.
The younger generations, those who are actively involved in social media, knew about the bombings within minutes, perhaps even seconds after it happened. The older generations, or those who are not actively involved in social media, found out much later. Some found out by walking through the streets of Boston, etc. Because this happens all the time, I am urging you to please inform those around you for two reasons.
The first reason is that some of us need more time than others to get to safety.
The second reason is that, if we don’t know who the spies and terrorists are among us, than how do we know if the person we just passed on the street isn’t someone who can help? Like a doctor, someone with medical training, has a first aid kit in their car, office or anything that would help. We don’t.
If anything like this happens and you are (unfortunately) in the vicinity, please inform those around you. If they look like they don’t know what is going on, they probably don’t.
