Hi Everyone,
In case you didn’t already read, Annoying Text Messages!, (here’s the link, http://arebelsrant.com/annoying-text-messages/ ) the search for Joanne continues. This is what I mean.
Today at 13:57 my cell phone rang. This was annoying because I was reading a great book and laughing out loud. That always confuses the neighbours and that makes me laugh louder. ;D
But hearing my cell phone ring from somewhere, because I really don’t care where it is at any given time, had me following the ringing of my cell phone I love to hate.
Once I found my cell I answered it. Here is what I can remember from the conversation. It may not be exact but this is the gist of it.
A Woman-“Is Joanne there?”
Me-“No, you have the wrong number.”
A Woman-“Is this, (she says the number she called, my cell)?”
Me-“Yes, that is correct. But you have the wrong number”
A Woman-“Oh, so there is no Joanne there?”
Me-“You haaaave the wrong number?”
A Woman-“Okay, sorry to bother you.”
I think that we may have said good bye to each other but I am not sure. This is why.
As soon as we hang up from each other, I look at my cell and see that there is a new email. I open the email right away. I could not believe my luck! I was so happy that anything that A Woman said to me pretty much got lost in my excitement. 😀
After a few minutes I did do a little investigating. Hmmmm. Joanne, I don’t know anyone named Joanne, but the name sounded familiar. Like something on my cell phone. I quickly checked my text messages.
Oh, yes, Joanne. E.H. was looking for a Joanne, and now E.H. has moved from texting to calling. Interesting. And so is what I did after that.
So thank you, A Woman, whoever you are. This blog is soooooo much easier than the one I was planning on writing. I also checked my email hours before I normally do, making my day that much better. 😀 My little after-our-chat was the icing on the cake!
If anyone who reads this knows A Woman or Joanne, please tell them to not contact me again in way, shape or form. It will be at their expense, not mine!
