Sometimes one just isn’t enough. This is what I mean.
For the last few years I have wanted to write another blog but let’s face it, if you saw my archives for this blog, writing wasn’t a priority. With life always getting in the way it has taken me longer than I would have liked to get back to writing anything. But the one thing I know about life, is that it has a funny way of working itself out. I worked on my goals every day and I am just going to say it, there were a lot of days when I really didn’t feel like it. It is hard to stay cheerful and press forward when you are your only cheerleader. Everything takes so much longer. Things seem daunting. Like the updates to A. Rebel’s Rant. They were long overdue and there are still a few changes I am in the process of making.
Now that I am feeling more confident, I started working on my new blog site. It is called, Behind the Blog and it is an extension of, A. Rebel’s Rant. You know kind of like the sneak peak when you select the special features option on a DVD of a movie. The reason for this is that there are times when I want to add, write more yet it wouldn’t make sense to. Besides, I am like a lot of people. My attention span only lasts so long. If a blog, or an article, looks like it is going to take me longer to read it than I would like, I don’t read it. Having two short blogs of let’s say 350-450 words gives readers more choice.
I am not sure how many people are going to read Behind The Blog, and that is okay. A lot of writers write for the sake of improving their writing beacause they believe in themselves. And yes, I believe in myself and my writing. I always have. Even when my writing was scattered, had spelling mistakes and every other writing mistake that one could have made, I believed in myself, my writing.
Since not every A. Rebel’s Rant, blog will have a Behind The Blog, post I will add a link to the bottom of each blog that does. Like this one,
