Hi Everyone,
If you read my last blog, then you would know that I had given myself a deadline of June 6th to have a new WordPress theme. That clearly hasn’t happened. This is why.
The last few days have been more unpredictable than usual. Life, work, and well good karma are why. Sure there have been a few hic-ups over the last few days. Hic-ups, in my opinion, are to keep us on our toes. Hic-ups are when things go for as I like to say, “a flip,” or don’t go according to plan. Well, I am sorry to report that what we consider to be the best laid plans aren’t always what are the best for us. Get over it. I have, and do, on a regular basis.
Sometimes we really do need the ground to separate beneath our feet to clear away the debris. The negatives in our lives are meant to be removed to make way, room, for the positives. I want more positives in my life. Thankfully so do a lot of other people in my life too.
There are so many of us that love life, even when life isn’t always worth loving. But we don’t care. Instead of turning inwards, we turn outwards. We carry on. Our lives could be falling apart, but in the spur of moment, we stop everything to help someone. This is true, even if we don’t know them that well, or even at all. I am serious.
There is like a team of us that do this on a regular basis. I did it earlier this week and today. Other people in my life have been doing it several times a day all week! One of my new friends is doing it right now.
As I am typing this blog, she is texting, calling and emailing people to make their lives easier. I hope they appreciate her efforts. I know I do. I would like to say that the above does not mean that we stop caring about ourselves, or diminish our feelings, lives, because we don’t.
The reason that we do what we do is that we, “get it.” Life is not always going to be easy, peasy, lemon squeezy. We know that. Life is life. It has ups and downs. Instead of leaving people to their own devices, we give them a hand up every chance we can. It is who we are. We love that! 😀
All of our efforts aren’t always recognized at the time, and that’s okay. We “get” that too. But here is something that a lot of people don’t get. If you do the right thing, even when you would rather not, all of those little bits of good add up. They make for a better life, for a love of life. And all of those things are good karma.
Karma, for anyone who doesn’t know, is like a vibration, an energy, that we send out to the universe. It is not like basic math where two negatives make a positive. Karma is like exponents. Good karma is a positive number to say, the power of seven or ten. Bad karma is a negative number to the power of say, ten to seventeen. Because we always have a choice, I like to choose good karma over bad. One reason for this is that good karma, makes our lives easier.
When one of my friends needed help with something today, and I promised to look into it, a person with the answer sat in front of me less than a minute before. I am serious.
This woman had all the information that my friend needed. Not only did I love that I could help someone, the person, who helped did so without question and loved it too! She didn’t even know my friends name! To me, that, is good karma all round. My friend’s and my good karma came around us when we needed it. And the stranger will get good karma because she willingly helped when she could.
For the love of life and good karma, do the right thing even if you don’t want to. Do the right thing even if you’ll lose a few friends. Negative friends aren’t worth having around–ditch them.
The more positives in your life the better. And remember, the universe never forgets. The universe serves everyone what they deserve. It may take some time. If karma doesn’t get you, it will get someone you love. Life can be really hard to love with bad karma in your life.
Thank you for reading, A. Rebel’s Rant! ;D
