Since there is more to say, I am just going to say it. Hence today’s blog. This is what I mean.
Shortly after the Eaton Centre opened up, I went to try to buy something. Even though the floor was clearly marked on where to walk, stop and purchase (they even had one of those retractable dividers), two women and a boy were going wherever they pleased. Since they were all-over separate parts of the small store, while in line, I gave up trying to physically distance and left because I just could not take it anymore. Which is a shame because even though every business needs business I don’t need or want to get COVID-19 or anything else.
Years ago, a man I was seeing asked me if I would ever move back to Hungary. For every time he asked, which was a lot, I answered no. I mean how could I? I had a mountain of debt, no real way of paying it off, and no desire to move out of Toronto. A lot has changed since then. Being out of debt and all that is happening in North America has gradually altered my mindset. If I could afford to live there right now, I would have been there last month! On a side note, Hungary has a growing film industry and I am a dual citizen.
A while back I posted a blog called, Is This Reverse Logic at Its Best? It was about how a female I worked with temporarily convinced me of the benefits of a “weight-loss” program she came up with. Anyway, the same female was at it again with one of her social media accounts. I say at it again, because shortly after I began telling people that she claimed, “I used to play a business woman in movies now I’m one in real life….” on one of her social media accounts, versus the glaring difference of what her IMDb states, she changed her profile to, “Living in the Pacific Northwest wonderland” which I am guessing is closer to the truth, since she did move to Vancouver, British Columbia. For anyone who is wondering why I would care to creep her, all I am going to say is, it is the least I can do, for all the hell she put me and others through. And she did. I don’t know what she said or did but I do know she is no longer in the GTA and I am (more than) okay with that. The Greater Toronto Area seems more peaceful.
