Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone that had a great Valentine’s Day whether you have a Valentine or not and took some time to treat him or herself to their own company. Don’t forget, we’re with ourselves all the time, like 24/7/365. ;D
And our enjoying, or learning to enjoy, our own company was one of my meanings for, yesterday’s blog, Love The One You’re With. (Here is a link for anyone who would like to read it, http://arebelsrant.com/love-the-one-youre-with-d/ )
Today I am going to mention another meaning that I didn’t want to introduce yesterday because, well, it was Valentine’s Day.
But now that Valentine’s Day is over, here are some interesting facts that I found in one of CBC’s Doc Zone episodes. The title of it is, Why Men Cheat.
In this very interesting video, there is a lot of referencing to men in power. Power can be perceived by anyone, meaning even the weakest of people can (seem to) have power.
Truly powerful people, in my opinion, behave within the confines of their strong moral compass, thereby, eliminating the need to allow their primitive instincts to prevail.
Here is the link to the video. It is 45:15 minutes long and worth watching,

And I thought that I would add the link to, Love the One You’re With, because well, I can!

So the question of the day is, should people love the one they’re with if the person they’re with decides to be unfaithful? I guess it depends on the moral compass and standards of those involved. With that said, there have a lot of successful relationships that began because of an affair.
An example of this is Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric, or GE. He had an affair with, then, Suzy Wetlaufer, in 2001 but who later became his wife and they are still happily married today.
Thank you for reading, A. Rebel’s Rant! ;D
