Hi Everyone,
Yesterday, as I was out and about, a woman said, “I LOVE your hair!” I smiled and replied, “Thank you, so do I! It’s easy to take care of. And that makes me love my hair even more.”
I didn’t tell her that I had three days worth of styling products in my hair. Or that I always sat on my step stool that I pad with a pillow of course, as I hung my head upside down, placed an astray on the floor because I was smoking, beside the book that I was reading on the floor too, with my one foot holding down the page I wasn’t reading, (yes I really do read books like that) while I dried my hair. Or that it usually takes me less than ten minutes to diffuse my hair even if it starts off soaking wet.
I guess I could have told her that part of the reason I love my curly hair is that it is finally super soft again and getting to my desired length of—super long! 😀 (If you don’t know what I am referring to I posted a blog called, My Hair Feels Like Straw, here is the link, http://arebelsrant.com/my-hair-feels-like-straw/ )
Now with all of my going on about my curly hair, I think I will use a hair mask today, after all it is Monday. Do I always use a hair mask on Monday? No, that would make me predictable. And once we are predictable, we become vulnerable.
If anyone is wondering, I knew about that line years ago. One of my ex-boyfriends always told me to change up my schedule and why. But when I heard it in a great TV show called, Person of Interest, I just had to include in one of my blogs. I love that line and the TV show.
