Hi Everyone,
Yesterday the CBC aired it’s TV show Doc Zone. The episode was called, The Secret World of Gold. The description for the show was, “The season finale examines the power and politics of gold, exploring topics of ownership and wealth.”
I listened to parts of it last night and watched the full video online this morning because GOLD IS VERY IMPORTANT. GOLD IS POWER. This is what I mean.
The funny thing about gold is this. Gold, like many precious metals such as silver, platinum, palladium, etc. can sit quietly on the sidelines for the longest time, but when there is financial turmoil, gold and gold alone, can, will and has caused global (financial) havoc.
Sure the price of gold is slowly climbing back up from its now low. Some experts in the past have said that gold will reach $5,000 an ounce. One day, they will be right. One day, gold will exceed $5,000 an ounce. This is why.
It costs A LOT of money just to find gold, it is getting harder to find, getting even harder to mine and becoming more expensive by the day to mine. I had an interesting conversation about that one day with someone. (If you are reading this thank you! I still remember the story clearly and that line of thinking has helped immensely over the years!) Gold has been and always will be a topic of conversation.
