Hi Everyone,
Well, it’s December 30, 2012. In about 32 hours we’ll be celebrating the New Year, 2013. Regardless of what the year 2012 has meant to you, I think we should all be thankful.
A lot of people don’t get the privilege of living until New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. In fact, a lot of people wish they had more time.
Provided we live a whole year, we will have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks, and 12 full months. That works out to be 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week and, for convenience sake, 8,760 hours a year. I don’t know what you did in the last 8,728 hours yet I know what I did. ;D
Not only did I increase the number of books I read and the informative programs I watched, I have also made time to laugh more this year than last. I have learned a lot about myself. I can admit that I am a work in progress. We all are. Unfortunately, some people are more of a work in progress than others. Just saying! ;D
Since I cannot control what others do, I will focus on how I can improve myself. This will not please some people I am sure. That is their problem, not mine. Again, I’m just saying!
Because at the end of my 24 hours of my day, 7 days in my week, and 365 days of my year, it is always my life, not theirs. And that goes for your life too.
There are a lot of people who want their friends to remain the same as them. Just so you know, a lot of people don’t want the people around them to grow. Remember that when people try to discourage you for bettering yourself.
Is this a rant? Yes, it is. It is just a polite one. ;D
