Two Great Sayings

Hi Everyone,

Happy Sunday! Today’s blog is on the lighter side. These two sayings have made my life a lot easier. I hope they will do the same for you. Here is today’s blog.

The first saying came from a woman I used to work with. Her name is Nancy. We began working together in mid-2005 and she trained me for my job. She was the best trainer I’ve ever had. This is why.

Any time I couldn’t figure something out she would always tell me not to worry about it. Then she would come over and see what I was having trouble with. Sometimes she would ask me why I did whatever I did and what I would do differently. After I answered her, she would tell me, “Everything is always hard when you don’t know what you are doing.” That is the first saying. It has served me well ever since. Any time I am feel that I am spinning my wheels I think of her and that valuable saying. She would also tell me, “All you have to do is try.” Nancy was, again, the best trainer I ever had.

The second saying is one that I have been telling myself for years. It is, “You only have to learn it once.” And it is true. Once we learn something it is in our memory bank. Sure things might change. Change is constant, but the basics are always the basics. If you understand the basics, you can basically do anything by building on what you already know. That last sentence is now a third saying that just came out of nowhere.

Here are all of the sayings. “Everything is always hard when you don’t know what you are doing. All you have to do is try. You only have to learn it once. If you understand the basics, you can basically do anything by building on what you already know.”

I hope the above sayings will help you accomplish what seems like the impossible.
