Hi Everyone,
Yes, the title of this blog is the name of a song by Crobsy, Stills, Nash and Young and don’t worry, I have a link for the YouTube video at the end of this blog. 😀 And the title of this blog is also the name of a fiction book by bestselling author, Emily Giffin. It was published in May 2008. But that is not what this blog is about.
Today is Valentine’s Day and some people may not have a Valentine or they may not be able to see their Valentine. This can be upsetting to some. But if everyone recognizes that we never leave ourselves, we should love the one we’re (always) with—ourselves.
So whether you have a Valentine or not, or you cannot see your Valentine onValentine’s Day,I would like everyone to take some time today to enjoy the company of his or her self. Not just for today, but every day. And if you can manage it, ALL DAY and ALL THE TIME! And yes,that also means, when you are with or without a Valentine.
Have a long hot bath, light some candles, watch your favourite movie, wear something that makes you feel great, buy something that makes you feel great or do whatever your heart desires.
We all deserve to be treated well, even if we treat ourselves. Remember, we are with ourselves all the time, so we may as well (learn to) enjoy our own company! 😀

I have to admit, part of me is a little curious to know where the boyfriend I had at the time when I was introduced to this song is now! ;D If that had you wondering where you and the people in your life at the time were, I hope you have fond memories.
