Hi Everyone,
Now that I have admitted that I still LOVE punk I have been looking it to a bit more. One of the things that I did today was look up Cigar Hurt Babies again. I like them. To me they are on their way. That is my opinion and I am always legally allowed to have one. ;D (For anyone who doesn’t know what I mean here’s a link to a past blog, http://arebelsrant.com/i-still-love-d/ )
So because I believe in them I thought I would do something I never thought I would. I looked them up on their Face Book page. This is kind of a big deal. Why? Well, I am not on Face Book. Yea, yea, I know but, I have my reasons.
Regardless of my reservations, I thought that I would dip my toe into their Face Book page and see what they are up to. This is what I found.
Their tag line is, “Cigar Hurt Babies spewed forth from the birth canal smoking a stogie.” I never knew bands had tag lines. That impressed me more. Good one guys.
They are playing at Studio 0 (That is a zero not an O) on Saturday May 11, 2013. It is going to be all ages, so anyone can go. Since I don’t want someone thinking or calling me, “Grandma,” within earshot I think Iwill skip that show. The young want to be with the the young.
Let’s face it, the young are trying to get away from their parents. I am pretty sure they don’t want a parent, or someone who could be grand mother, hanging out with them. Would you? Did you? Exactly!
I am not sure what time they start because there are other bands playing that night too. And I am not sure when the show starts to begin with. My thinking is it is something like 9:30 or 10 pm.

There is other information on their page too like videos. Check them out–again. If I broke down and used Face Book, this should be a cinch for everyone who uses it all the time. Who knows, maybe you’ll give them a Like and join their page.
