Hi Everyone,
On December 13th, I posted a blog called, Another Carrier. (Here’s the link, http://arebelsrant.com/another-carrier/. If you read that blog than you would know how I felt about a telemarketer from another carrier contacting me, what transpired and the reasons why I am no longer with that organization. I also mentioned that I would let everyone know what their feedback was.
The feedback was nothing! I haven’t heard one thing. Did I expect this? Kind of. I was hoping that someone, somewhere would keep their word. Keeping ones word is a direct reflection of ones character.
It has been my experience that some corporations, like people, lie to to protect and/or benefit themselves. The message in the above sentence is that corporations are people and thereby, have psychopathic characteristics and tendencies.

I have watched this documentary twice. I think that the first time was about 9-10 years ago with my daughter. Interestingly she saw it again in one of her high school classes a few years later. The second was about 2 years ago. The information within this documentary is still relevant today. And, The Corporation, is mentioned on pages 94-95 in a book that I read in 2008.
The title is, Snakes in Suits and the subtitle is, When Psychopaths Go To Work, by Paul Babiak, Ph.D. and Robert D. Hare, Ph.D.
During one of his campaign speeches, Mitt Romney was bang on when he said that corporations were people. I knew exactly what he meant. Too bad that many Americans didn’t understand his statement at all. Mitt Romney either knew that from personal experience, watched the Canadian documentary, The Corporation, read Snakes in Suits or a combination of the above.
Corporations are people and some people go to great lengths to get what they want, when they want it, without considering the socio-economic repercussions of their actions.
I could go on about this but I am not. Take from this blog what you will but recognize this–there are a lot of moving parts and few of them are for our benefit. An example of this can be found in my December 13th blog, Another Carrier! I have provided the link at the beginning of this blog.
