Hi Everyone,
A Doomsday Prepper is one or more people, usually a family, who prepare themselves for whatever catastrophe they believe will happen.
This is so popular that there is a TV show called, Doomsday Preppers, and it is in its second season. You can find it on the National Geographic channel on Tuesday nights at 10 pm, or 2200 hours.
I have watched a few episodes of the first season. Are some of the reasons people “doomsday prep” far out? Maybe. But unlike most people they are doing something to prepare past the next 24 hours or next 5 minutes.
A lot of people are of the belief that people with means/ability/time should take responsibility for their futures. People cannot expect to be taken care of during a catastrophe of any size. People panic when they are not prepared and panic is never pretty.
Scoff at the doomsday preppers if you want. but if something goes wrong, like a power outage, a financial meltdown, or whatever, they are prepared to protect themselves. Are you?
Please think about that because your life may depend on it.
