The Unvarnished Truth-2

Hi Everyone,

Today’s blog is more of life’s unvarnished truths. If you don’t know what I mean there’s a link at the bottom of this blog. I may or may not sugar coat things so there’s your head’s up. Here’s today’s blog.

Thinking you have someone in your back-pocket means you’ve created a false sense of security. This is just a general observation and isn’t directed at anyone specific today. Just saying.

You can really learn a lot when people decide to name drop. That’s why I don’t do it.

When I’m dealing with a full-fledged idiot, I wish their parents had the courage to abort them. Admit it, you’ve thought it too. I just had the guts to write it!

I quit smoking several times a day. If it weren’t for those non-smoking commercials, I’d have a higher success rate.

Anytime someone who isn’t one of my confidants asks me what I do, I tell them whatever rolls off my tongue. I am serious. It’ll be the truth and about 1% of what I do. The way I figure it is like this, if I don’t tell one of my confidants who I speak with on a regular basis what I do, then why would I tell a stranger? Exactly!

Transparent people will always bug me!

All it takes is one look to spot a shyster. The same goes for someone with a criminal record. Two looks will tell you how long their rap sheet is though and the charges.

People aren’t as smart as they think they are. For anyone who is curious, that means me too.

For the last few weeks, I’ve been very happy. I like it. ;D

If you know what you are signing up for, don’t complain. There’s a link at the bottom of today’s blog that’ll explain that for you if you don’t know what I mean. It has another link you might want to check out.

I need another book like I need another hole in my head. That doesn’t stop me from stopping by the Salvation Army looking for books by my favourite fiction author. The other week, I came out with 3 books I paid for. They gave me one for free. Four books cost $5. Yesterday I stopped by Chapters and searched the remainders. I found a book I bought at the Salvation Army for $2. Chapters was selling it for $7.99 not including tax. I smiled.

It’s another hectic week here so the blogs may be hit or miss. Welcome to the world of the creative class.  Welcome to Monday. You can’t trust that day. ;D
