You Can Change That

Hi Everyone,

Life is so much easier now than it was when I was growing up. Anyone can do pretty much anything. That also means that pretty much anything can be changed. This is what I mean.

Cher wanted a smaller waist so she had a few ribs removed. I think it was one per side. Curtis Brown, aka, 50 Cent wanted new teeth, so he got them. I think all of his were replaced. Actually a lot of famous people have a million dollar smile that aren’t their own and didn’t cost them a million dollars.

Some famous and not famous people have had a lot of work done. All kinds of people do it all the time. It is now the norm. Personally I don’t have a problem with what “work” people have had done, or want they want to have done. If it makes someone happy and doesn’t break their bank, go for it. Really. Go ahead. If no one else will give you their blessings, then I’ll give you mine.

If you want to lose weight and don’t want to the work yourself, or haven’t been having any luck, you have a variety of options. Liposuction, staples or a band are the options that I know of. There may be more.

To prove that you can change that, whatever “that” means for you, just think of Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife. She’s had almost her whole body made over. I am serious. In one interview she told the interviewer that she had over $350,000 worth of plastic surgery. I don’t know if her teeth were part of that, but $350,000 in plastic surgery when I saw the interview which was now about 10 years ago, and not when she had the plastic surgery done, is a lot of work.

So yes, you can change that, whatever “that” is for you. But the one thing that people can’t change, the one thing that takes time, energy, and self-examination is the self. A body is just a container for who we really choose to be. If your moral compass is out of whack, if your brain isn’t right and on tight, what your body looks like doesn’t really matter. Easier said than done I know. We are all a work in progress. Don’t be too hard on yourself. I try not to be.

Just remember, not everyone gets what they ask for. If you decide to get some work done research the doctor, get referrals, and look at some before and after pictures. It’s your life and you’re driving the train.
