Hi Everyone,
Before I started what I am doing, I was totally clueless! Oh I had all of the information at my end. I just didn’t know what to do with it. And I will be blogging what I am doing starting with tomorrow’s blog. Just for the record, ONLY a few people know what I am doing. The EXACT number is six. If you have been guessing, or think you know, well, I am here to report, you probably don’t. But let’s stick to this blog. Here we go.
It must have been late March of this year, when things started coming together for me. There was something I have waited years for, and that landed in my mail box in late March. Had I of know THAT was going to be the nightmare it was, and to a certain extent still is, I most likely wouldn’t have gone through with what I have. Yes, there are still some things that must be done, but I have to tell you, I’ve covered A LOT of ground. Just because someone has ALL the information, doesn’t mean they know what to do with it though.
Before I began finding a way to use the information I had, I couldn’t fight my out of a wet paper bag even if there was a Black AMEX as a prize. For anyone who doesn’t know, having a Black AMEX means you can buy ANYTHING in the world at anytime! I am serious. Which just goes to show you how incredibly totally clueless I was when I started this. But if there is one thing that I believe it’s that persistence pays off!
Since I didn’t really know where to begin, and NO ONE was helping me help myself, I simply did the best that I could with what I had. At that time it wasn’t a lot. In fact, it was next to nil! BUT I kept at it! As far as I was concerned, the timing was perfect, and it took a lot timing on my part to get people to help me help myself. It still does!
I sat in offices for HOURS each day just to either be turned away or be kicked out of. When I say kicked out of, I am not referring to my conduct. I am referring to people who TOLD me, they couldn’t help me. One woman said, “You are wasting my time!” That of course just PISSED me off so much I showed up the next day when someone else was working. Just for the record, anytime I go to that office, one of my first questions to anyone waiting is, “What do they look like?” because I already know that “she” won’t help me. I sat in the same office for HOURS again, and that person told me the pretty much the same thing, but at least gave me some of their fifteen minutes as they checked their BlackBerry ever 5 seconds. I am serious. She actually did that while she was TRAINING someone who by the way was late coming back from their lunch! I know this because, remember, I sat there all day!
Still clueless as to how to use the information I had, I just kept at it. Day after day, I sat in offices waiting. When I couldn’t stand the people I was waiting with in those offices, I would check the “list” then I sat in a coffee shop waiting and sat in the smoking section waiting, always checking the “list” for my turn for someone, anyone who would give me a sliver of information. Any time someone threw me even a CRUMB of information, because that is EXACTLY what they gave me, I built on it. If I wanted to get to where I got, I HAD to and still have to! In my opinion, no one was, or still is, going to help me help myself better than me. In the past, I’ve allowed too many people who “supposedly” know more than me, TOTALLY SCREW everything up! Hence the position I am currently in!
Much of the information I have received over the months was reluctant. I didn’t care then, and I still don’t care now! Totally clueless or not, I am on a mission! As I mentioned earlier, I have waited for this for years. This is my last shot. Unfortunately, I am not alone. There are COUNTLESS people in my position all over the world. And if someone doesn’t do something about this, it is ONLY going to get worse! Since I live in Canada, we’ll start there tomorrow!
